Copeton Dam, three

Click and steal a 354kb snapshot

This will be the last snap of Copeton dam, New South Wales.

Zooming in on this subject with my lens created a very blue image that has me thinking I am looking back to land from a boat when in fact I was standing on the dam wall.

This image maybe more useful for wallpaper on a monitor although it might have the user thinking they have the dreaded blue screen. lol

Copeton Dam, New South Wales two

Click here to steal 460kb snapshot

Yesterday I posted a landscape snapshot of Copeton Dam, and can be found by clicking here. A dam wall had to be crossed to reach the area in todays photo. I will post a zoomed in area of the dam tomorrow, which really makes the blue stand out.

Copeton Dam, New South Wales

Click and steal a 446kb snapshot

The main reason for our trip interstate was to visit Malcolm's uncle and aunty. For the next few days we did just that although in no way did we stay idle. People that have lived in a region for a large number of years make the best guides to show their visitors what is on offer. Copeton Dam was one of these places that we visited while staying with our wonderful hosts and both Malcolm and I thank you for your hospitality and what you did for us.

Although Copeton Dam is extremely low with what capacity it will hold, it was a pleasure to see. I stitched two photos together to help show of this little oasis. One day I would like to see this area full to capacity with water.

I am going to organise another photo yet of this dam so stay tuned for it.

Gwydir River, Moree

Moree was the town that we spent our third night in a caravan park. After unhitching our caravan we explored the town, finding this spot near a parkland that the Gwydir River ran through. The water is discoloured after recent rains at the same time adding a compliment colour to the greens. I hope you like it.

Barwon River at Brewarrina NSW

Click and steal a 565kb snapshot

Near the Barwon River was lovely at Brewarrina, New South Wales, particularly as it was a hot day when we passed through.

This being the third day on our two week trip, Malcolm and I were just now starting to settle into the routine with our moving onto the next stop and everything else that goes with it.
