Keepit Dam

The still water of Lake Keepit or as some call it Keepit Dam is a beautiful oasis in New South Wales.

With a huge area damed off with a caravan park on the banks of the Lake it is a lovely place to stay, which Malcolm and myself did for one night after leaving Tamworth.

I would love to stay again at this caravan park when the lake is near to capacity because at the time of our visit the water level was only four percent. Still though there was still a lot of water to be seen with water sports for young and old.

After an extremely hot day we were rewarded with a lovely sunset that lit up this cloud with beautiful colours...... sigh to be back there again would mean my holiday isn't over yet.
